Monthly Recognition AssembliesAt the end of each month there is an assembly that brings the John Marshall staff, students and community together. Each month students work to demonstrate a character trait in addition to working hard at their studies and in the community. During the Recognition Assembly, recognized students from each class receive Super Bulldog Award certificates for demonstrating a targeted monthly character trait. An exciting addition to this assembly is the anticipated classroom presentations. Each class is assigned a character trait and a Recognition Assembly to present at. Staff, students and parents are thrilled to see the wonderful and creative messages presented by the students. Students can also earn spirit tickets by actively participating in the Spirit Day theme of the assembly( i.e., Bad Hair Day, Pyjama Day). Each assembly concludes with names drawn from the bucket for a small prize. Keep an eye on the John Marshall School newsletters and circle these assembly dates and time on your calendars. Parents and friends are always welcome to share in celebrating student success. |
